Immanuel!
In christian theology the existence of evil is usually explained as a consequence of free will. In other words, man creates evil, not God. God´s omnipotence and moral perfection are seemingly preserved. But could not God have created free will as a choice between several kinds of good? What I mean is that, even if man is responsible for evil in its manifest form, God is still responsible for evil as a possibility.
So, in my opinion, something must be sacrificed, either God´s purity or his omnipotence. The only thing that makes sense, is sacrificing omnipotence (I might argue for this later). God attempts to create the perfect universe, but there exists some inherent resistance in the basis for the universe. Everything in existence is created by God, in battle with this resistance, which is not an active agent or a force. It simply IS. It has no agenda or will, it does not seek the end of existence, rather it hinders it´s creation, passively.
It is this resistance that is responsible for all kinds of evil in the world. Every evil action, every emotion that triggers this action, is a consequence of a resistance to God´s energy within oneself. The struggle inside each individual to flow free with the positive energies of God is analogous to God´s own struggle to overcome resistance and create the perfect universe.
Everything in the universe is a manifestation of God´s power, but the inner world of the mind is a more direct manifestation of it than the physical. Our minds, our consciousness, floats in an ether which is a part of God´s own consciousness. If knowledge of the physical world can be gained by observing it, then knowledge of God can be gained by observing consciousness.

Tres, tres bien! That is the only french I know, reserved for this piece. Clear, simple, straightforward and unexpected. Me like, a lot!

ReplyDeleteGods creation is perfect. He is not struggling.and when we can see that we will experience it also.that joy that creation is.this can happen at any moment.to anyone.and then when we can let God bless even our problems, we can start to change them .when we thank God before we know the solution.thank him for the problem.thank him, for we know that it has a solution.and it is perfect. everything is perfect becouse God is perfect.he does not roll dice.and everything that happens to is therefore perfect. no matter how far you are away from your true nature or higher self.>>So, in my opinion, something must be sacrificed, either God´s purity or his omnipotence. The only thing that makes sense, is sacrificing omnipotence (I might argue for this later)<< God became death once in history remember? by doing so he overcame death and let us feed his ether into the world.God became human in the river of jordan in the valley, and died in Jerusalem. By doing this he let free our fysical-spirit body and opened us for his light again. Now we can see clearly into the spirit world without leaving our body in some trance. And when we die the light will be carried beyond with us to learn more of ourselves before returning back again to earthlife to do what Christ did in tree years in our continuing human evolution. bla bla bla...
I am sorry, but I cannot accept references to scripture as proof of anything. I do not believe in the bible as God´s truth. At best, it contains a fraction. Neither do I believe in the divinity of Christ. I see him as a prophet, though perhaps the greatest one.
ReplyDeleteThis is my attempt to explain the origin of evil, and the best one I can come up with. I cannot believe in a God that willfully sanctions suffering. I cannot see it as perfect. Freedom from any kind of holy text enables me to see this my own way, and not try to squeeze an explanation into a mold in which it does not fit.
I have reached these conclusions by looking into myself, analysing my experience of doing things that are wrong, comparing them to that part of my inner self that is part of the devine, and I see a great contrast between the two. This may be offensive or blasphemous to you, but to me it is the God given truth.
